Welcome to Day 1 of the Stress Immunity Reboot! If you haven’t completed the Opening Assessment yet, please do so. Today, listen to the Peaceful & Empowered Meditation. You can listen to the audio or read the meditation on your own (see the download).

While you listen, just sit back, relax, and allow your mind to explore the prompts in the audio. Don’t worry, this isn’t hard work. Simply listen and enjoy while your body lets go of the old, negative paradigms and makes space for new, empowering ones. When you finish, if you had any thoughts about new, productive ways to think or positive actions you should take, write them down in a safe place–perhaps a notebook.

Day 3

Welcome to Day 3! Listen to the Immune Boost Meditation today (or read the script). There are similar principles with boosting your Stress Immunity as there are in boosting your Immune System.

While you listen to this meditation, remember to relax and allow the resolving and strengthening effects to take place. Open your mind to receive new insights and ideas for how to take better care of your mind, heart, and body.

Also, try out the Release Reset Audio to help with those difficult moments when stress is getting the best of you.

Day 4

You’re doing great! For today, listen to the Immune Boost Meditation again (or read it). 

It’s possible that you’re noticing some irritants start to surface. This is totally normal. It means your body systems are waking up and getting ready to more effectively take on the stressors in your life. As you continue to listen to the meditations, things will begin ironing out again and you will feel a new steadiness and calm.

Also, when this happens, the Release Reset Audio that we introduced yesterday is a great tool to help you release tension and clear your mind. Keep going. You can do this!

Day 5

You’re almost to the end of Week 1!

You’ve really started something important this week. It’s hard to over-emphasize how important it is to strengthen our Stress Immunity. Wouldn’t it be amazing to be so strong and resilient that we could handle anything? Well, that capacity is already inside you, and the Stress Immunity Reboot is going to help you access it more fully.

Stress Immunity Reboot – Week 2

Day 6

Welcome to Week 2 and Day 6 of the Stress Immunity Reboot!

(Note: Please make sure to complete the Mid-Reboot Self-Assessment today if you haven’t already and get your special BONUS!)

You may be noticing some new thoughts after listening to the meditations for several days in a row. Write these down, positive or negative. You’re gaining a new awareness for your life and are getting stronger and more capable of handling the things it throws at you.

You may also notice some physical discomforts as your body is trying to communicate with you. That’s pretty normal–something’s just trying to get your attention.

In this meditation, you will learn how to respond to pain and discomfort in a way that helps you learn their messages. Doing so unlocks your body’s natural healing mechanisms, making them more effective in resolving the underlying issues causing pain. Listen to the Pain Relief Meditation today to let the messages come through and the aches melt away.

Welcome to Day 7! You’re doing great!

For today, listen to the Pain Relief Meditation again or read the script. Think about the aches and pains you deal with on a regular basis and focus on letting them ease.

Also, remember to use the Release Reset Audio whenever you need an extra boost.

Day 8

Welcome to Day 8!

Listen to the Relaxation Meditation today (or read it). Relaxation is at the heart of healing. The more often we allow ourselves to hold this space, the more empowered the body is to resolve physical, mental and emotional injury or illness.

In this meditation you will learn how to calm internal reactions in order to facilitate your body’s natural healing efforts.

Another special resource for you today is the Confidence Reset Audio. There are times when you wish you felt a bit more sure of yourself and confident in your abilities. Listen to this short audio for a quick boost!

Day 9

Welcome to Day 9! You’re nearly finished with the Stress Immunity Reboot!

For today, listen to the Relaxation Meditation again or read the script. Be sure to go into the meditation today with a specific intention. For example, are you struggling to solve a challenge at work or in life? While you’re listening, open your mind to receive new insights on how to handle it.

Congratulations! You’ve reached the end of the Stress Immunity Reboot!

For this final day, go ahead and listen to your favorite meditation from the whole two weeks. Really lean into the relaxation, the new insights, and the encouragement that’s there for you. Make a goal to continue taking care of yourself even when the program is over.

What is Stress Immunity?

Stress Immunity is the capacity to handle life’s challenges. In the dictionary, immunity is the ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin; a protection or exemption from something. Building stress immunity then is the effort to increase our resilience to stress and protect ourselves from its toxic effects.

Why is stress such a big deal?

It costs the economy hundreds of billions of dollars per year. The World Health Organization even calls it an epidemic. It significantly strains companies, relationships, and individual lives. The effects of stress build up in our bodies over time. If we don’t have coping strategies to respond well to stress, especially the chronic stress most of us experience, it can contribute to physical ailments, mental and emotional illness, loss of money or employment or worse. 

How do meditations help with stress and anxiety?

Simply using meditation in any form can help to reduce stress, anxiety and depression, improve sleep and mental clarity. These Resilience Mediations do even more. They are designed to work on the subconscious level to rewrite negative beliefs that prevent us from handling stress well, cause us to react impulsively instead of consciously, and deteriorate our ability to choose how we respond to challenges.

What if I feel more stressed after listening to the meditations?

You may experience an increased awareness of your challenges after listening to the meditations if you have had a habit of neglecting them. This type of denial often happens when we feel overwhelmed or incapable of handling life’s difficulties. The meditations will actually strengthen your ability to handle your challenges, so you may find yourself unable to just pass by them now and feel driven to resolve the issues causing you stress. Take a deep breath and believe in your new ability to work through whatever you’re struggling with.

How long before I start feeling better after listening to the meditations?

Depending upon how strong your current capacity is to handle stress can determine how soon you feel stronger and more capable. You may feel immediate improvement–more peaceful and less reactive to challenges, more confident in your ability to succeed, more clear about your goals and purposeful in your efforts. It may also take a few days of listening to the meditations before you recognize the benefits. Keep track of how you feel each day and you will notice improvement more quickly.

Can I use the techniques in the reset audios on my own or do I need to listen to them when I struggle with something?

If you prefer to be self-directed in managing your stress, feel free to use the processes on your own. You have all the power you need to strengthen yourself, especially if you use the methods from the audios often. The reset audios are there for you as long as you need or want that kind of support.
